The money you give goes directly to our partner projects in Ethiopia and allows them to continue their inspirational work, changing lives for the better.

Your financial support makes everything possible. Unlike some larger organizations Taste of Hope is a grassroots movement that you can become personally involved with through what we do and who we serve.  The funds that you give go directly to the project of your choosing.  Our goal is to send 100% of all donations to Ethiopia.  Taste of Hope covers its own administrative costs, as well as wiring fees.

Million is 8 years old and benefits from our Sponsorship Fund. He lives with his 12 year old brother!

Featured Family

When you sponsor individuals or families it is Taste of Hope’s goal to facilitate the development of a relationship between you and your sponsored family.  Here is our featured family whose need exceeds their resources:

Meet Lete, and her two daughters.  Lete-Hawaiat lives in Mekelle, Ethiopia. She is blind and also is HIV positive.  Her daughters are age 8 and 3. The oldest one, Emebret has an eye disease, but is not blind.  When interviewed for sponsorship Emebret said, "I wish to finish my school and help my mother to get enough food and to build her own house." Lete has no source of income and is in serious need of support to raise and educate her girls.

Kathleen Reish along with her daughter Laura Brewer at the Blind School in Mekelle.  During their last trip to Ethiopia, Taste of Hope shared time with the students at this school who are near and dear to their hearts.  Future projects for the school are in the planning stages. Projects like these and more are supported by our coffee sales.
