One can scarcely believe or even begin to understand how millions of orphaned, starving and destitute children live out their day-to-day lives in Ethiopia. It is hard for us to comprehend the staggering statistics and think how we can possibly make a difference.

- 32,000 with HIV in the Mekelle region alone
- 4.5 million starving and in need of emergency food relief
Growing up in Ethiopia, Saba Tewolde experienced the pangs of hunger and the hardships of life that still plague this nation. As an Ethiopian refugee, Saba is now living here in America and shares her story and vision of hope through Taste of Hope.
There is a story called the Starfish Story that inspires us. A little boy on a beach finds himself in the midst of thousands of starfish that have been washed up on shore from a storm. Undaunted, he sets about the task of rescuing them one by one. Together with Saba, Taste of Hope, is saving lives one by one. This is an invitation for you to join us!
